University of Toronto Staff Resources
The Centre for Community Partnerships offers resources for experiential learning (EL) staff at the University of Toronto who work with community partners. If you have questions or suggestions, please email Rebs Lee, Programs Administrator.
CP staff can assist EL staff and instructors with CEL curricular or co-curricular courses and program development. We are available to advise and share resources on program development, reflection and assignment design, assessment and evaluation strategies, community partnership stewardship, and a range of other topics. To request a consultation, please email Maddy Macnab, Coordinator, Staff Networks, at m.macnab@utoronto.ca.
To learn more about experiential learning at the University of Toronto, and to access a variety of EL resources for faculty and staff, please visit the Experiential Learning Hub.
Are you a EL staff member? Join the UofT Experiential Learning Staff Network on Teams! There, you’ll find:
- A general channel for all EL staff (coordinated by the Office of the Vice Provost, Innovations in Undergraduate Education, OVPIUE). Click to add yourself to the general channel.
- A specific CEL subchannel (coordinated by the CCP) for staff working in community-partnered EL/CEL. To be added to this subchannel, please email Maddy Macnab, Coordinator, Staff Networks at m.macnab@utoronto.ca.
On the general channel, members are invited to share information related to the work of EL staff at U of T including deadlines, staff professional development opportunities, invitations to collaborate and relevant resources.
The CEL Staff Network subchannel is for educational developers working with faculty on curricular EL/CEL involving community partners; placement coordinators working with community partners on developing EL projects and placements; and for those who do both educational development and placement coordination.
EL staff are welcome to request access to the CCP’s Faculty CEL Resource Site, in which they will find sample syllabi, course design resources, critical reflection tools, and descriptions of relevant activities and assignments designed to support CEL course instructors.
For access to SharePoint, please email Rebs Lee, Programs Administrator.
This is a bi-monthly newsletter (6 issues a year) for University of Toronto staff who support community-engaged learning (CEL) and community-partnered experiential learning (CPEL) in their roles or are interested in CEL/CPEL.
