University of Toronto Staff Services

The Centre for Community Partnerships (CCP) can support experiential learning (EL) staff who work with community partners, including in the area of community-engaged learning (CEL) through our services for staff.

Enhance your team’s expertise with a tailored workshop facilitated by the CCP. Dive into dynamic discussions of ways that staff can support instructors in community-engaged learning (CEL) course development, pedagogy, and practice, and build reciprocal and responsive partnerships with community organizations. Our workshops can be customized to address your team’s specific capacity-building needs.

To request a customized workshop for your unit or divisional team, please email us.

If your unit is interested in connecting with local organizations, the CCP can help facilitate introductions and advise on ethical partnership building.

As your unit builds these new relationships, we can also assist in identifying campus resources and other opportunities to share with your community partners as part of the CCP’s inaugural Community Partner Recognition Program.

To inquire about partnership building and stewardship, please email us.

CP staff can assist EL staff and instructors with CEL curricular or co-curricular courses and program development. We are available to advise and share resources on program development, reflection and assignment design, assessment and evaluation strategies, community partnership stewardship, and a range of other topics.  To request a consultation, please email Maddy Macnab, Coordinator, Staff Networks, at m.macnab@utoronto.ca.
